We are delighted to announce that Harry Oliver has been named Chambers & Partners Family Law Junior of the Year 2018 at the annual awards ceremony on Thursday, 25th of October.
Harry previously won this award in 2013, making him the only person to have won Family Law Junior of the Year twice. He was also nominated to the shortlist of three candidates for the award in 2012 (and is one of only two counsel to have been shortlisted three times).
Harry specialises in divorce, financial remedies and provision under Schedule 1. His cases regularly involve ‘big’ and ‘very big’ money (including with assets up to £3bn).
He represents individuals, trusts and companies and has advised on overseas divorces including in Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman, Gibraltar, Hong Kong and Isle of Man. He is instructed to advise on pre-nuptial agreements including with international dimensions. Harry has been an expert witness on English family law in foreign proceedings (Gibraltar, BVI, Scotland and Venezuela). He undertakes Private FDRs as the tribunal, and is available to sit as a arbitrator.
1KBW’s Deepak Nagpal was named last years Family Law Junior of the Year 2017.
