It is with great sadness that Chambers announces the passing of our dear friend and esteemed colleague, James Turner KC, earlier today.
James was part of the fabric of 1KBW, and we all mourn his loss. His talent, imagination and industry made him a towering figure within the profession, and the legal community is much the poorer for his passing. Known affectionately as “Technical Turner,” James was one of a kind. His exceptional career spanned hundreds of reported cases, including many of the landmark family law cases of the past two decades. James was justifiably proud of the work that he did, as were we, his colleagues at 1KBW. We know that his career was an inspiration to many and that he leaves a remarkable legacy.
