Nicola’s working life has been devoted to 1KBW. Nicola’s association with chambers started when still a young school girl. In her holidays and on odd weekends, she would assist with a variety of different tasks and she honed her typing skills by assisting chambers’ typist. Since then her role has changed.
Today Nicola is responsible for the management and development of all members’ practices. Nicola’s daily tasks include diary management, assigning new cases, practice meetings, the billing of work as well as marketing chambers and building and maintaining client relationships. She strives to provide the highest standard of service to chambers’ clients.
This experience means that she has built a unique relationship with members of chambers and clients alike. She is recognised in the legal directories as having ‘unsurpassed clerking skills’ and ‘epitomise(s) the service that a clerk should provide’. Nicola is ‘very helpful’, and ‘very good at matching the level of barrister to a case’ (Legal 500).
