Our teams are always interested in receiving applications from specialist practitioners at all stages of call. If you would like an initial discussion in confidence please contact Chris Gittins, Senior Clerk. Written tenancy applications, including a CV, should be addressed to Chris Gittins, Senior Clerk and marked ‘Private & Confidential’. All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Door Tenants

Door tenants are qualified barristers who have commitments outside the Bar, or chambers in another part of the country, and who wish to practise from 1 King’s Bench Walk Chambers on an occasional basis. Our door tenants are all specialists in their field. They are available to 1 King’s Bench Walk as advisers and consultants and they take on casework which is specific to their area of expertise.
