Ella started her pupillage at 1KBW in October 2024 and is currently under the supervision of Mandy Tanner. Ella has a keen interest in all aspects of family law.
Prior to starting pupillage, Ella gained valuable experience working as a paralegal at a boutique family law firm based in Mayfair, specialising in complex matrimonial finance and child disputes. She assisted on a variety of cases, including High Court children proceedings, multi-million pound postnuptial agreements, and cases involving complex assets with international elements.
Ella is deeply committed to access to justice and has extensive pro bono experience. She previously volunteered for Coram’s Child Law Advice Service, providing free legal advice to vulnerable individuals on a range of child law issues. She will be running the London Marathon in April in aid of Coram, to further support its services. Ella has also volunteered for the legal charities Advocate and Amicus and has actively fundraised for the London Legal Support Trust.
Ella is also a contributor to the Financial Remedies Journal, providing summaries of recent developments of interest.
