Lewis joined Chambers in 2017, and is an integral member of the clerking team. Prior to joining chambers, he worked at two family law specialist sets, which gave him the opportunity to gain invaluable experience within family law.
Lewis is responsible for the diary management and practice development of all members of chambers. He regularly fixes hearings at all court levels, including the Supreme Court. He assists with managing the practices of chambers’ members and plays a huge role in the development of their careers. Lewis is also responsible for providing fee estimates and finalising fee agreements. He has an extensive knowledge of the members’ practices and prides himself in finding the right barrister for the right case.
Lewis is one of the main points of contact in Chambers in regard to fixing court hearings and is a qualified direct access clerk. He appreciates that it can be a stressful experience for clients and is always happy to manage cases closely to put the client at ease.
Lewis achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management in 2022, which he studied part-time for at the Open University whilst working at 1KBW. Lewis is a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks.
